Reinhard Eiben & Olympic Canoe Slalom

Reinhard Eiben was born 4 December 1951 in Crossen, Zwickau. Reinhard Eiben is an East German slalom canoer who competed in the 1970s. 
At the Summer Olympics 1972 was held in Munich, he won a gold medal in the C-1 event. Reinhard Eiben is a very good German Canoer take part in various Olympic Events and won a No. of Medals for the Germany.
Eiben also won gold in the C-1 event at the 1973 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships in Muotathal.

His partner, Lecky Haller McEwan won the silver medal in the C-2 canoe slalom in 1987 in the ICF Slalom World Championships in Bourg St-Maurice, he and Haller, placed in the Olympic Summer Games in 1992 in fourth. She also won the overall World Cup title in the inaugural season of the C-2 category for this competition in 1988.
