Reinhold Kauder Men's Olympic Canoe Slalom

Reinhard Kauder was born January 30, 1950 in the Germany. Reinhard Kauder is a West German slalom canoer who participates in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

At the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, he won a silver medal in the C-1 event. Reinhard Kauder also won two medals in the C-1 event at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with Gold in 1971 and Silver in 1969. The 1969 ICF Slalom World Championships took place in the dug-Bourg St-Maurice, France under the auspices of the International Canoe Federation.
The C-2 mixed team event at the third and final time after the previous championships. East Germany won no medals for the first time since 1951.
