American Slalom Canoer James Jamie McEwan

American slalom canoer who competed in the 1970s and then again in the late 1980s and early 1990s James Jamie McEwan was born on 24 September 1952 born. 
He accommodate with his son Devin in the 2000s to compete. Occurred in two Summer Olympics, he won a bronze medal in the C-1 event in Munich in 1972. Born in Olney, Maryland began his kayak in the valley of family camping. McEwan has a degree in literature from Yale University in 1975. It should be noted children's author and illustrator Sandra Boynton, married a graduate of Yale, class of 1974. His partner, Lecky Haller McEwan won the silver medal in the C-2 canoe slalom in 1987 in the ICF Slalom World Championships in Bourg St-Maurice, he and Haller, placed in the Olympic Summer Games in 1992 in fourth. She also won the overall World Cup title in the inaugural season of the C-2 category for this competition in 1988.
 In 1998, Tom McEwan and his brother members of an expedition to the Tsangpo Gorge were run; Mount Everest is regarded as a river. The expedition ended in tragedy with unexpectedly high water when teammate Doug Gordon is not in a position, a waterfall was Boof, missed his band, and lost his life: Jamie James McEwan has written many children's books.
